Welcome to a new season for Stanford Men's Golf as we set off along the road to Riviera!

The team gathered together yesterday (Thursday 9/8/11) and following team meetings, physicals and other formalities they were raring to get out and play the Stanford Golf Course in fine condition... prepared specifically for this initial Fall Arrival Qualifying Competition!

This year we have 3 new Freshmen to add and make impact on the strength of the Stanford Golf roster: Patrick Grimes, Marcel Puyat and Patrick Rodgers.

Read on to see how they fared in their first competitive qualifying round at Stanford...

Event:

Fall Arrival Qualifying Competition for the Fighting Illini Invitational to be held at Olympia Fields, Illinois (September 16-18).

Conditions:

1 Exemption for Patrick Rodgers who was not able to play. He is currently in Aberdeen, Scotland representing Team USA in the Walker Cup.

3 "Open Spots" earned by the three players who shoot the lowest 4 round total through our Fall Arrival Qualifying Competition event.

1 Coaches Pick which generally goes to the 4th place finisher in the Qualifying event.
